I set an hour aside this evening to clean my razors, stripping them down and trying my best to meticulously clean and polish wherever I could. I'm a bit OCD when I comes to razors as I have to wash them down, clean and dry them after every shave however I wanted them to be that bit extra shiny tonight.

It may come as no surprise that the Fatboy came up like a new shiny penny. I was happy it was clean before but stripping it down and cleaning each part gives an odd sense of satisfaction. It honestly looks brand new and it was an easy choice as to what I was using tonight to remove my stubble.

It was loaded with a fresh 7 o'clock Green blade and the OSP Orange and Patchouli soap and aftershave were another easy choice.

An easy 3 pass shave was delivered. The OSP soap is becoming a firm favourite.

A BBS result with the nearly 60 year old razor! Tremendous.

Have a great night folks. [emoji1303]
Nothing wrong with that. I rinse my razors and dry them after each shave and every DE razor (or SE that uses Gems) has their blades cleaned, dried and stored away.

+1 here. I do exactly the same. I believe in looking after everything you have.

Couldn't agree more!

As I shave I also have a wet side (to the left of the sink) and a dry side (to the right of the sink). As I use each item - face wash, pre-shave, cream/soap etc. they move from left to right getting dried and cleaned as I go along. And I wonder why it takes me so long to shave....[emoji848]

Soap: S.V 70th Anniversary
Brush: SJ 30mm Purpleheart Synth
Razor: Wade & Butcher 13/16 Hollow Square Tip
Post: S.V. 70th Ann Balm
EDT: Ferrari Bright Neroli

A fantastic shave provided by this monster brush and soap combo. I much prefer a square point razor, I find it far easier to complete difficult tasks like the hair under your nose and tackling the side burns.
Great finish with the post balm and the lovely fresh Ferrari.

Enjoy your shaves!
:)
