Omega 11126 boar
Mondial Tabacco Verde
PALInjecto-Matic
Schick Proline [ 5 ]
Tuff Green A/S Lotion

A much better Shave today, as the blade was still fine unlike yesterday. The Mondial soap lathers very easily and helped the Shave progress smoothly. Not being good on Scents it does have an earthy woody smell, and is a great size for my travel bag.

Soap - Vitos Red
Brush - Yaqi Plissoft Barbershop
Razor - Gillette 7OC Tech
Blade - Gillette 7OC Permasharp (4)
Post - Witch Hazel
Balm - Nivea Cooling
AS - Superdrug Forest Fresh

I've been using old Gillette UK Techs for a while and a MIC one as well (Yingjili) which I'm very familiar with, and like others I'd associate these Techs as being on the mild side of things. Today I used the Indian market 7OC Tech and I was expecting it to be much like the other Techs but my assumptions were wrong, it's actually has a fair amount of bite, a lot more blade feel than for a 'normal' tech - maybe even a little on the aggressive side of things!

The 4th shave with the Indian 7OC Permasharp, possibly at it's sharpest today. Worked well with the Indian Tech for a great shave.

Pre: Pears Original Transparent
Brush: Vintage Vulfix Service #3
Soap: Palmolive stick/Mac root S-Lather (potted).
Blade: Astra SP (6)
Razor: Rockwell 6S - R2
Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, homemade Witch Hazel Lavender/lime/Tea tree/lime/patchouli/ Eucalyptus astringen,
Balm: E45
Aftershave: Floid SE Mentolado Vigaroso.

Breaking in the Vulfix Vintage I decided to go for a bowl lather. As I pressed the Palmolive stick into a nearly empty tub of Maca root (about 5mm deep) I will class this as superlather. Added glycerine and oils and made a nice slick lather.
The 2 plate is very mild, a 2 pass shave looks ok, however, to the touch my chin is like very light sand paper. The 6S is cleaned and stored until next up.
Nothing at all from Alum block and a nice comfortable face.
A dollop of E45 and a splash of FMV and I am a happyish man.
It will do for tonight kind of shave.
Have a great night All.

Wednesday evening

Valobra Tallow
Semogue 1470
Face lather
Star 1912
Gem SS PTFE w/rubber band shim
Thayer's Rose Petal and Aloe Vera
Pitralon Classic after shave

I like the Star; but I do find it the least efficient of the 1912 variants in my collection. So it requires a wee bit work; which is fine for an evening shave. To be fair, I got a dfs; considering that there wasn't too much stubble after last night's R41 shave.

The Semogue is a good boar brush. However, I'm definitely a synth convert for overall performance; and find I use my natural brushes rarely now.
