Well, thank you. In all honesty, it was a quick snap. I suppose the thing is to be happy with the lighting, setup and composition. This setup is tried and tested - I just put the stuff down and take the shot.

Lather - Yaqi Sagrada Familia + P&B Sanskrit
Razor - Star Model 100
Blade - Shark SS #4
Post - Mennen Skin Bracer + L'Oréal Hydra Sensitive Birch Sap

Final shave with the Shark blade today and it was another great shave. Really seems to work well in this cracking little razor. Lather and post shave were top notch. The Star has provided the top shave with this particular blade, closely followed by the Tech. Really enjoying trying out these blades in the razors and noting the different shaves they provide.

Prep: Warm shower / Sanex Men ~ Sensitive Soap Free Shower Body & Face Gel.



Pre:


Cold wet flannel to my face.


Pears ~ Transparent Soap Bar / Nuage Menthol Shaving Oil.


Brush: Chinese Unbranded Silvertip Fibre.


Bowl Lather.


Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.


Frankenlather : Arko Sensitive + Geo F. Trumper Violet Shaving Cream.


Blade: Mers ~ SuperShave X Platinum. (2)



Razor: Ming Shi 3000s. ~ (Settings) 7-wtg, 8-xtg, 9-atg+pick ups.


Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade lavender eucalyptus +Tea Tree essential Oils Witch Hazel Mixture./ Blue Stratos ASL.


Creightons ~ Sensitive Post Shave Balm.


A relaxing Sunday morning shave.


The Ming Shi 3000s is such a mild razor which for me isn't a bad thing as i don't need an aggressive razor each time i shave. What i like about the 3000s is i can buff over my tough stubble areas without causing any irritation to my skin.

I personally think if you find something that works for you then stick with it no matter how much or little it costs, if it gives you good shaving results then that's all you need. Enough said.

Another very comfortable 2 pass + pick ups BBS shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Creightons ~ Sensitive Post Shave Balm.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.

+1 re Futur setting
I used one exclusively for over seven years, and setting 3 was the limit of my comfort zone.
How anyone can use one at full tilt is beyond me.

What do you make of the Nivea Body Shave Stick ?

Very Nice.
An easy face lather with "The Fat"
Although the blade did OK it has gone to the blade bank.
