I seem to be on an unintentional run with inexpensive soaps and creams, and I quite like it
Nivea, for £1 a tube has to be up there with the best budget creams ?
It has something of Ingrams about it IME
Ladas blade - not used one in years it seems
Smooth and sharp in equal measure, paired with the Timeless
Finished with price punching Brut Sport Style Aftershave - another winning shave

The soap gives very good lather quality & performance but just too mild scent to my nose. Thick, creamy & slick though!
Shave with razor paired with blade for first few strokes was uncomfortable...it was skipping and pulling. Replaced the blade immediately to a well-used Elios and wow...huge difference!
3 smooth and comfortable passes with this excellent blade. Avoided weepers and irritation. Good bbs to dfs result. Post & aftershave was terrific.......Rating 9.5/10

Not a great shave today, picked up a nick by the side of my mouth on the first pass and it was struggle to get it to stop bleeding. My experiences with Lord blades aren't the best. I'd not used the Intesa Shaving cream for a while, and it has a nice enough scent and the performance is fine and it's a fairly good performer, I'd rate it a notch less than Palmolive.

A nice almost three pass shave today. Despite having enough lather to see me into next month, I still can't manage the towering mr whippy @chard52142 manages to get on his shave brush.

This morning's shave was shaping up to be a classic, until I gave myself an unexpected small nick to the left of the Adam's apple. I decided to change the standard, rather light, R96 handle for a solid stainless Ikon one, and completed the shave without further drama. The heavier handle felt better than the razor's own handle during the second pass. I find the same is true of the MÜHLE R41, which also benefited from an Ikon bulldog. I'll see if this combination works over it's next few shaves.

Alien vs Predator
I just couldn't decide which razor to use today…either the steampunk predatory Leaf with its multiple weapons, or the slick, smooth curve and flexibility of the dangerous Supply SE.
I decided that they would have to decide amongst themselves, but as you can see …it cost me one of my favourite brushes
The actual shave involved the Supply for a first pass (on plate 2) and the Leaf to finish off (Nacet in slots 1 and 2) with the Yaqi 'Heavy Metal' brush, Proraso Green shaving soap, Proraso Green AS and balm.
There was no blood loss during the shave and no brushes were harmed in the making of the photo
