What a difference a day makes.
A really successful shave with the feather AC-DX today, even managing using the left hand on the LH side of the face where i find it difficult using my Right hand.
2 full passes WTG and XTG with some ATG buffing giving a DFS+ result. A nice post shave although there was some indication from the block and the splash had me singing for a second or two.
The OSP Neroli is a favorite of mine and i will be gutted when it eventually goes.
Feeling good and smelling good.
Have a great Day All. (y)

Tuesday 23rd October

Pears Glycerine soap
Williams Mug Shaving Soap
Semogue 1250 Boar Brush
Wilkinson Sword Classic TTO with a Dorco Titan
Palmer's Moisturiser
Aqua Velva AS

A post night shift shave. It was a bad night and a worse day. The eldest of our 3 dogs has been going downhill and was scheduled to visit the vet this afternoon. Unfortunately when I got up early afternoon he had already passed so the rest of the day was spent organising a cremation .

I decided to go for something simple this evening and ended up with a really nice 3 pass shave.
I do not have a dog but had one when abroad, so sympathise.

Wed 23rd Oct.

Simpson Chubby 1 / Maggards 2Band
Williams Mug Soap
TNNSER 3D
Gem S/S [ 7 ]
Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion

My 7th Consecutive and last Shave with this little Razor kindly lent to me by Arthur @Electrif . The blade was on the wane as it started to pull a little, and though the Shave took longer than usual, I had no trouble getting a close all round finish. The TNNSER really brings the best out of the Gem blade and I rate it very highly against my best Vintage SE. Also I think it gives my AC/SEs a run for their money in terms of quality of the finished Shave.

Wednesday 23rd October

Proraso Sensitive Pre Shave
Scottish Fine Soaps Traditional Shaving Soap
Jayaruh #128 Synthetic Brush
TNNSER 3D razor with a GEM PTFE SS Blade
Alum
Thayers Witch Hazel with Cucumber
Creightons Coconut and Rose Moisturiser
Blue Stratos AS

I arrived home today to find my TNNSER 3D and Jayaruh Brush. I recently took some time to reacquaint myself with light razors (PAA Bakelite and Souplex Bakelite).
The razor was more efficient than my Sabre L1 with a finish which I normally only expect from my Classic Cobra......completely and utterly 'Face Feeling BBS'. with only a tingle from the Alum Test. Even after only 1 shave I can say....this razor is amazing

Shaving recipe for today.

Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Soap.

Brush: Erasmic Boar.

Face Lather.

Soap: Haslinger ~ Aloe Vera.

Blade: Parker Premium Platinum. (2)

Razor: Parker 55SL Semi-Slant.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade menthol crystals +Eucalyptus peppermint,+ Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Nivea Men ~ 2 phase ASL + Anti Irritation Aftershave Lotion Balm.

Greetings,

Another early morning shave.

It's been a considerable amount of time since i last used the haslinger aloe vera soap, the aloe vera soap like the Schafmilch & lanolin it has a very faint clean fragrance, what i instantly like about haslinger soaps i've shaved with is they create a lather in a short space of time, without the aid of blooming before hand the aloe vera, like it's sibling leaves a absolutely fantastic post shave feel.

The Erasmic brush was my first shaving brush along with a Wilkinson Sword, both brushes have served me wonderfully. Both brushes shread a few hairs with each outing, but it's not a huge concern as i take them for they are, which is serviceable in-expensive functional shaving brushes.

Second outing of the Parker 55SL, with only two shaves under the belt, this mild but smoothly efficient indian made princess razor is the most comfortable de razor i've had the pleasure to shave with..Have i found my perfect DE razor?

Another very comfortable 3 pass + pick ups BBS shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Nivea Men ~ Anti Irritation Aftershave Lotion Balm.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

Pre-shave:- Argan Oil soap
Bowl/Scuttle:- Wooden shaving bowl
Brush:- A very old Boots bristle brush
Soap/Cream:- Palmolive shave stick
Razor/Blade:- Gillette Tech and Shark (8)
Post/After-shave: Cocoa Butter/Lotion
Fragrance:- None

Shave number 8 with the shark blade, still giving very good results.

The Palmolive Shave Stick has had four pound coin sized slices put into the base of the wooden bowl and it produced a superb creamy lather, giving very good results

Next blade is a Sainsbury product which I think are made by Dorco, I hope that it will be as good as the Shark
