SOTD: Saturday 18th January - Friday 24th January 2020.

Tabac Tuesday

Soap ~ Tabac (bowl)
Brush ~ YaqI 24mm Tuxedo Marble Handle
Razor ~ Rockwell 6C R4
Blade ~ Gillette Platinum (1)
Post ~ Tabac Aftershave

Three days growth removed in comfort
Having recently used my 6C on plate 3, plate 4 felt so much more efficient, with a fresh GP blade.
Two passes later, WTG/ATG, I'm left as smooth as can be.
Finished with Tabac Aftershave

A theme? A theme? Shaves have themes? They do indeed and this one had the theme 'Crumplestiltscream II - The return of the more crumpled tube'

IMG_20200121_182830.jpg

Exactly the same shave as a few days ago 'Crumplestiltscream I (Origins)' except with a more crumpled tube of L'Occitane.

Exactly the same wonderful shave and I came to the conclusion that an even more battered tube of Shaving cream makes no difference whatsoever.

QED

Have some of this

And of course brilliant shaves while at it

A very nice Williams Wednesday, 3 passes for a BBS finish.
I have realised my earlier errors with the Williams, the puck is smaller therefore i need to load the brush longer, it worked a treat today, enough Williams for the shave.
I also like the Williams Musk splash on its 1st time use.
Feeling and smelling good.
Enjoy your Day All.

Wed 22nd Jan

The Grosvenor [ 404 - mixed ]
Williams Mug Soap
Occams Enoch
Feather Proguard [ 2 ]
Williams Aqua Velva A/S Lotion

Another good Shave with The Enoch, now that I have come to grips with the need to make sure the blade is locked and secured properly on its retaining pin/ lugs. Get it wrong and the Shaves are abysmal.
Todays Shave was smooth and comfortable with a nice close all round finish. I am getting to like the Proguard blade a lot as it protects you error when using a relatively New To You Razor.
