Greetings,

Another wonderfully relaxing Williams Superlather sunday shave.

For the rest of my SOTD's this week will all will mostly feature German made shaving products..Starting with the Merkur 34C DE razor.

Like a vast majority of people, when first venturing into the world of traditional wet shaving i was attracted to this wonderful piece of great value for money non-aggressive razor, matched together with either an aggressive or non-aggressive blade this wonderful Fräulein has always performed excellently giving me an acceptable shave, today was no exception.

A comfortable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Nivea Men ~ Sensitive Cooling Post Shave Balm.

My face is feeling invigoratingly smooth & smelling devine. ;)
;)

Enjoy your sunday, ladies & gentlemen.

Feather,Stir, Vulfix.JPG

Pre: Pears Original Transparent
Brush: Vintage Vulfix Service #3 1950's
Soap: Stirling Lime
Razor: Feather AS-D2
Blade: Kai Stainless Steel (4)
Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, homemade Witch Hazel
Balm: E45
A/S: Hugo Boss Bottled Night

A face lather this morning with the Vulfix and Stirling Lime, a very nice start to the shave.
DFS with 2 passes, 1 x WTG and 1 x ATG/XTG mix.
No touch up required. Nothing from the Alum stone.
Re moisturised with the E45 and a splash of Hugo Boss Bottled Night.
Face very comfortable with BBS skin. The Feather is ideal for a Sunday morning, comfortable and mild.
Off to see the mothership for my Sunday Visit.

NOTE:-
I am not sure, however, since using the Stirling soaps this week i seem to have drier post shave skin, this is easily remidied by using extra balm or moisturiser and does not effect my overall shave result, does anyone else find these soaps drying? I can get away with it although if my skin was sensitive or naturally dry i think they would be too much. If that what it is?
Have a great day All

Brush - Yaqi 24mm Giotto
Pre - Floïd Oil
Razor - EJ DE89
Blade - Rapira Platinum Lux (3)
Soap - Musgo Real
ASL&B - Floïd Suave

Another very comfortable shave with the DE89 and RPL. I need to give both these items more exposure to other blades and razors.

The brush is gorgeous but a little too soft for hard soaps. Will make a great cream brush though. The Musgo smells fantastic. A comfortable and acceptable end result!

Enjoy your Sunday!

Sunday 19th May

Cold Water Shave
Heno de Pravia Glycerine Soap
RazoRock Irish Countryside Soap
Simpson Duke 1 in Pure Badger
Kai Captain with a Proline P
Alum and Rinse
Witch Hazel
Dove Moisturiser
RazoRock Irish Countryside AS

A lovely Sunday Shave. It was my first outing with the Kai Captain and I was not disappointed.
2 passes and some touch up for an almost perfect finish. The single weeper was dealt with by the Alum.

Enjoy the remainder of the weekend!
