Result - top end.

I had been eagerly looking forward to using this soap - I missed the group buy - in fairness @Barry Giddens did flag it up to me - but I didn't check - went on holiday - and the deadline had passed. I was royally pissed when I found out it was based on the scent of 'Eau Sauvage' - one of my favourite fragrances - one that will never be absent from the den. So anyway - I put it down to experience - only to receive a pm from a fellow member - offering to pass on his soap and balm set - it was border line for his skin - a chance I jumped at. Using the tried and tested Wickham base - it is a tub of sunshine in soap form - given the blue skin and rickets - in Glasgow we quite often need artificial sources of light - a room filling scent. Bright and strong. It dovetailed beautifully with the Myrsol 'Limon' but - in my opinion - slightly better with the Wickham 'Citrus Musk' - finished off with the 'real thing.' I'm very fond of my citrus shaves - and 'Apricus' has gone way up in the rankings from the off. Excellent - I enjoyed using it very much - enjoy your shaves gentleman - yours - I.

I last saw Purple live at The Hammersmith Odeon in '89.
Blackmore and Jon Lord blew me away - I was buzzing and half deaf for a fortnight afterwards !

First use of the Zenith Synthetic brush - it worked a treat. Soft tips and plenty of backbone.
Alvarez Gomez BarberIa Cream with it's light citrus notes suited today's warm weather nicely.
Finished with Myrsol LImon and Dunhill Fresh EdT - fully refreshed and smooth.

Excellent Paul , Glad you enjoyed it , I mainly bowl lather and I am finding it very good for that too.

Blade - Astra SP (2)
Soap - EJ Limes and Pomegranate Cream
ASB - Proraso Green
Scent - T&H West Indian Limes

The final travel shave for the next two weeks.

The Titan and the Astra SP pair well and the EJ cream (trial size) gave a nice lather and scent. Sadly the trial pot of the EJ post shave balm had dried in to a hard mustard coloured entity so I couldn't complete the lime trio this morning. Nonetheless, I've enjoyed a DFS and I'm smelling fresh!

Post-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20), Tea Tree Antiseptic (10), Lavender (15) & Peppermint (10 drops)
