Brush - Omega 11819
Soap - Tabac
Razor - Old Type
Blade - Gillette Winner (3)
Post - Witch Hazel
Balm - Nivea Cooling
AS - Indian Old Spice

A rare outing for my Old Type, a razor I neglect as in the time I'd owned the razor I couldn't get the best out of it but in today's shave I seemed to rectify my failings and it seems like with some other razors out there it seems very dependent on using the right angle for the razor which I seemed to dial in correctly for today's shave as the results were quite simply delightfully.

Have a good day chaps.

Brush: Simpson Chubby 2
Soap: Arran Machrie
Razor: Rockwell Model T #3
Blade: Polsilver (3)
Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, Homemade Witch Hazel

The Polsilver much better/smoother in the Model T.
I started on 2.5 but found it a bit light, Dialed it to 3 and i seemed to be getting the smooth shave i was after.
I did get some minor indication from the Alum block so tomorrow i will dial it back to 2.75 and see how it goes.
More positive about that shave with the well reviewed Polsilver.
A very nice post shave with the Barts lotion putting back the suppleness, the Arran Balm and splash finishing off a shave i am really happy about.
Have a great day All.

Lovely choice of fragrance there. You are probably the only other person I've seen using it.

Decent shave today! Still not sold on this razor yet. Got a great face shave, but the narrow angle of effectiveness limits it's utility as a noggin scraper. Started on the noggin scrape, but after two nicks switched over to my faithful Vector. In any case, BBS all around!

Moss Anniversary Slate scuttle
Rooney Emillion 2 Porcelain-Jade Finest (26/54)
Crabtree & Evelyn Lavender shaving soap (vintage)
Wolfman WR1-OC 0.61 Brass/WRH2
Gillette Platinum 'Swede' (17)
Yardley English Lavender aftershave (vintage)

The brush was perfect for the hard soap, making wonderful lather. At just over 130g, the razor is a bit too heavy for me, but it certainly does its job well.

RazoRock Syn 22mm
Arran Aromatics Bay Citrus
Schick E2- Canada
NOS Schick Super S/S-Holland ( 2 )
Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion

This Canadian E2 delivers very nice Shaves..However today with the Dutch blade it's performance was quite outstanding .
Without any problems I had one of the smoothest and closest Shaves that I have had with a single blade Injector.

A trip down memory lane with my first DE razor. I've also had the Oatcake soaps sat unused in the den so thought it time to give one a whirl. Forest is (kind of) the scent theme.

The shave was acceptable and the Overgrowth smelt very nice but I'll need a few shaves to dial this razor back in. Still a bit prickly around the chin.

T - I'd be careful with that bird - looks shifty to me - seems to have been hovering around - casing - your den for a couple of days - looks like it is going to have it away with your Rockwell - you don't mind the odd Yaqi head being filched by our feathered friends - but the Model T is a step too far. I had the same problem - but installed a hawk in the bathroom - problem solved. Ha ha - I.
