Now competed 9 consecutive Daily Shaves with the V3-OC the last 5 have been with a Schick Proline on board, Todays Shave was trouble free with a top notch close all round finish, that I have come to expect from it. Penned a little Review in the Single Edge/Blade section.

Pre: Shower
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2
Soap: OSP Orange and Patchouli
Razor: Rockwell T Adjustable #2.75
Blade: Ladas Super Stainless (3)
Post shave: Cold water splash, EO infused Witch Hazel
Balm: Barts Balm Cinnamon & Patchouli
Aftershave: OSP Orange and Patchouli

Wk 21 (6).JPG

I miss-judged loading the Simpson today for a face lather, the brush held enough easily for 4 passes, i hate wasting the OSP soap.
So a lovely chin covering and a nice easy 3 pass shave with the Model T /Ladas combo, the blade is still OK, although i have decided to bank them after 3 shaves so i can get through these trial packs.
Would i buy the Ladas again - Yes, if i actually need anymore blades in 15yrs time.
BBS, Feeling and smelling real good,
Stay safe and enjoy your day All.

Update.
I fitted the new T bar and doors to the razor but they threw it out a mile, i re-fitted the originals and sent some photos to the CS team at Rockwell, i will see what happens next.
When i checked them side by side the replacements did not look right.
New RH side.JPG
The replacement doors are on the right and look as if the "T" top is under stress to the fixing bar.
Where as the original set on the left is flat across the top.

Pre: Hot Shower
Soap: Ariana & Evans Choco Cubano Sample
Razor: Leaf Razor
Blade: Gillette Nacet x3 (1)
Brush: AP Shave Co. Chubby Style w/ 22mm Gelousy Knot
Post: Cold Scottish Water Rinse
A/S: Crown Perfumes Choco Musk
Balm: Red One Chocolate Balm

Trying out the Leaf razor. Very good shave and it feels really comfortable to use. Feels a little bit too much like a cartridge razor for me to enjoy on a regular basis but still, really nice to use and it gave me a BBS shave.

Pre - Shower
Cream - TOBS Mr Taylor
Brush - GF Trumpers Travel Super badger
Razor - MÜHLE R89
Blade - Wilkinson (3)
Post - Alum followed by moisturiser.

I decided to use my travel set-up today. If I don't it probably won't get much use over the next 6 months. I watch a video last night by GeoFatBoy on shaving against the grain, although he only shows his technique on the cheeks I tried it this morning. He claims it's gentler on the skin. Anyway, a decent and comfortable two pass plus the ATG on my cheeks this morning. A few areas on my neck could do with touch up, I don't bother while I'm not working or seeing anyone at the moment.

SOTD 20th May
Soap - Soap Commander Honor
Brush - Yaqi Sagrada la familia
Razor - Parker 65r
Blade - Gillette Rubie #1
Post - Nivea Originals Balm

In a rush today, working on the house, then a quick shave before jumping on the bike to go to work. But, this shave provided a brief moment of peace, calm and tranquility. The Parker is performing really well. Really liking the Rubie blade and nice to return to Nivea balm to finish things off.
Stay safe people.

Tony, you are the second person that has issues with the doors of that razor. He wasn't impressed with Rockwell's customer service and he stopped using the razor.

I hope you get it sorted.

To be Honest Rick, the razor works fine in its original state, it just has a minute "lazy" door from about #4 down over, it's perfect on the higher settings.
It is a kickstarter razor so about 2 - 3 yrs old.
Rockwell have been good about it, I just think they have sent out a sub standard replacement part.
I will keep you posted.
