Benjamin's ~ Mentholated Bay Rum Splash-On Lotion.

Greetings,

Second outing of the Bluebird platinum, today i wanted to test it in the w.s. classic with it been a mild razor..The verdict?..The b.p's performance wasn't much better than yesterday to be honest... I have doubt's that this is a platinum coated blade?, it still feels like a derby extra to me? that said ,the overall shave was acceptable, but only just.

Finishing the shave off in old school style with a generous splash of Benjamin's ~Mentholated Bay Rum Splash-On Lotion.

Enjoy your sunday, ladies & gentlemen.

I'm not saying I love this soap, but if it was a TV show it would be Breaking Bad. And if it was a music song it would be The Chain by Fleetwood Mac. Nuff said.

I usually shave every other day but my lovely twin daughters are taking me out for lunch for Father's Day.
A cracking two pass shave +a couple of extra swipes on the lower neck.....smooth as you like !!!
I'll have a spray of the Eau Sauvage before I head out.
Oh aye, the wife's tagging along too .

The Ambassador struggled with >24hrs growth, particularly with the grey hairs in the Van Dyke area of my stubble.
I also experienced the drag others have mentioned.
I'll turn it up to four tomorrow and hopefully this'll rectify both issues.
Have a great Sunday.

Sunday

Phoenix and Beau Spitfire
RazoRock Plissoft 24mm synth
Face lather
Gem Micromatic OC
Gem SS PTFE
Thayer's Cucumber and Aloe Vera
Fine Fresh Vetiver after shave
Tom Ford Grey Vetiver EdP

3 days of growth hewed down effortlessly with the Gem combo. The Spitfire gave its usual high quality lather and, as standard with me, squidging the last off the brush allowed me to work it into my face and leave it as I tidied up. This, for me, contributes to a lovely post shave feel.

As I guessed a wee while back, the Fresh Vetiver does layer quite nicely with TFGV.
