Greetings,

The Weishi 20. Adjustable/ Dorco Prime Platinium blade excelled the shave, with the Weishi Adj a really smooth efficient combo. A absolutely super razor & blade match..The Weishi Adj performance on the higher settings really give a superb comfortable shave.

Throughout the week the Dorco Prime Platinum blade has performed wonderfully with each and razor that i've paired it up with, a really non-aggressive smooth, yet efficent blade which i highly recommend if you haven't yet tried,as always DE blade recommendations are very subjective .YMMV.

The Wickham Irish Fern soap, like the 1912 Classic 24 is a joy to shave with, providing a wonderful slick protective lather, and a great post shave feeling to the face.

The Wickham's soap's have the best fragrances that i've had the pleasure of trying, the Irish fern really goes together with the Old spice aftershave,as does the 1912 Classic 24 too..Wickham soaps are another soap i've added to my soap wish list..Absolutely brilliant shaving soap.

A comfortable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth bbs shave with no errors to report...All the products in my humble shave set up worked together superbly, making my shave a very pleasurable experience.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling devine.;)
;)

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

Williams Wednesday

Vulfix 404
Williams Mug Soap
Supply V1 / V2- No3 Plate
Schick-Chick [ 6 ]
Williams Aqua Velva A/S Lotion

Even though I have beefed up the V1 Supply with the more aggressive V2 No 3 Plate, it still feels very mild. However, it shaves very smoothly and by doing sufficient polishing up work I can get a good close finish, without causing any problems.

After yesterday's experience with the Feather Artist Club, I decided that the Feather AS-D1 would be just right. What a fabulous shave, not quite as close as the other Feather, but so, so smooth and gentle. Great start to the day.

21/03/19

Soap - Wilkinson Soap Stick
Brush - Zenith Euro X
Razor - Fat Handle Tech
Blade - Treet Durasharp Yellow
Post - Witch Hazel
Balm - RSC
AS - Superdrug Forest Fresh

Like Barry Giddens, I also used the Wilkinson's Blue soap stick, and it produces a very nice lather with a good post shave feel as well. Even though the Fat Handle Tech is a very mild it seemed to match reasonably well with the Treet, which isn't the sharpest or smoothest blade out there but I occasionally like using a Carbon blade as the feel is slightly different.

Thur 21st March

RazoRock Plissoft 22mm
Cyril Salter Solid Soap
Schick E2 - Canada WW2 Issue
Schick S/S - Japan [ 6 ]
Jaguar Prestige A/S Lotion

Though the E2 is fairly aggressive, I like the blade feel which allows one to chart the progress of a Shave. As usual provided a nice close Shave without any problems.

My wife has dozens of essential oils that she has acquired - sorry, I don't know where she got them. I went overboard on the vetiver by mistake. Paul's got the right idea though. One thing that I did was squeeze some aloe gel into the mixture too.
Do you apply it like aftershave or do you "wipe" it on with cotton wool?
Do you re-rinse before balm and aftershave.
Sorry for all the questions, old novice here.
Cheers
