Forgetting to shake the water out of the brush this morning led to a mountain of creamy lather for my shave. A momentary lapse on my part led to a completely over the top, glorious shave. Roll on this week.

Mon 18th Feb.

Stirling Syn. 26mm
Cyril Salter Solid Soap
Schick C1
Schick Proline [ 3 ]
Jaguar Prestige A/S Lotion

A Shave today with a Schick C1 was more of a challenge than one with the very forgiving "O" Clone yesterday. Mindful of the need for a good lather I chose to use the Cyril Salter which provides Cushion and Slide. Taking care not to rush and get the angle right, the Shave took longer than with most Injectors. However, my care was rewarded with a mishap free pretty good close all round finish. Surprisingly worked well going against the grain and no Alum required. It is quite amazing how well these oldies do in fact Shave, and it is nice to have the opportunity to try one out.

Another soap gift from @Boru62. The scent of which I really like. The lather was really easy with good protection and residual slickness. Well pleased. The Treet blade has had its last outing as was starting to drag on the final pass.

A nice shave this evening though I got a good burn when I slapped on the Floid aftershave. I think I was applying a tad too much pressure on that side of my face but the burn disappeared quite quickly.

The Reef Point Calming Spice soap has a nice scent though I don't feel it's up there with my other soaps. The glide just isn't as good and it gives a very slight nippy feeling when reapplied after each pass. I'll try again in the future and decide then if I'll keep it in my rotation.

Otherwise a BBS finish and an enjoyable shave. The Hawk head and Proline blade have performed flawlessly together again alongside the heavier handle.

Have a great evening folks! [emoji1303]
