Ever Ready " Streamline"
Gem S/S [ 1 ]
Tuff Green A/S Lotion

No Shave reports over the weekend when I used a Schick N3 whilst away, lovely Pub/Hotel but a shame the lighting
in the Bathroom no good for Shaving. SWMBO complained that it was no good for putting on make up, so I did not bother :). Back home on Sunday had a very quick Shave with a Type F, which as usual provided a decent Shave.

Today decided to start a short Vintage SE rotation, and as using a fresh blade chose the "Streamline" which always works well with a new blade. I am very lucky in the time that I have returned to proper forms of Shaving to have developed a light touch, which helps no end when using a " Streamline".

I totally enjoyed the Shave which was smooth and comfortable , no doubt helped by an excellent lather. Only those who know the" Streamline" well, can appreciate the quality of finished Shave it delvers when all goes well. Recent excellent Shaves with Modern AC/SE Razors are not as good as that attained today with IMHO this Aristocrat of Oldies. I could well be tempted to use this Razor again tomorrow.

Necessarily quick shave today, had to be out of the house in half an hour. Whoops! Timekeeping! Quick face lather with the hugely efficient Simpson M7 and the wonderfully citrus TFS soap. Followed by two passes to smooth enough with the Feather, a dab of Proraso balm, a squirt of EDT, and I'm out the door.

New brush courtesy of a trade with a fellow member. It's a very thirsty brush at the moment so ended up face lathering.

Moss Anniversary Slate scuttle
Rooney Emillion 2 Porcelain-Jade Finest (26/54)
Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Cavendish shaving soap
Delta Echo Feather AS-D2/Triad Blue Aristocrat Titanium
Polsilver Super Iridium (1)
Eufros Tobacco aftershave balm

This Emillion is pretty much in between the last two brushes in its density and backbone: medium density and very soft tips. The soap made excellent lather but required some work to get it cleaned out of the brush. And the balm, while soothing, smells more like cured cigarette tobacco than the green tobacco leaf that I like.
