I've had this razor for a while but haven't been able to use it because it takes proprietary blades but thanks to the talent of @twhite510 I finally got to give it a go, cheers Tom.
At the moment I prefer the slightly uglier sister - the Model Three - but it's early days.
First go with the Puig Quorum as well and I like it.
Happy Shaving one and all.

Tabac shaving stick - first time I've used Tabac and first time I've used a stick. Now, I'm a 99% bowl lather kind of guys, but I enjoyed this soap and shaving method a lot!

AP Shave Silksmoke in 30mm knot - perfect fit with the Tabac for me

Rockwell 6s and #3 with KAI blade - efficient yet fairly smooth

Saponificio Varesino Cosmo AS - this was a sample I got and said I'd give it a go. In short, neah. Good performance and all, but the smell is not nearly as nice with Felce, Mana di Sicilia, Tundra Artica or even Dolomiti which until now was my least favorite of the bunch.

Razorine Full DE Shavette in Brass with a Wilkinson/Gillette Blade
Alum and Rinse

Williams Aqua Velva AS

I must admit....I like a bit of variation and was almost tempted to go with a GEM razor today. Yesterdays shave with the Razorine was good.....but there just wasn't the wow factor to make me want to rush back. I am so glad that I did.
Today I didn't fuss so much about how to hold the razor.....I just got on with it.
2 passes and some touch up for a really excellent shave. It is actually very good at dealing with the difficult areas on my neck......and once you get by the loading of the blade....very difficult to cut yourself with (IMHO).

Evening B. - I notice that you use the Heno de Pravia glycerine as a pre-shave often - they do a tallow version with the same scent - have you tried it? If not - pm me - and I'll happily send you one to try. Yours - I.
