27hrs after yesterday's Weishi shave...I was still presentable but needed a 'tidy-up'. The Ikon SBS is a much heavier setup and delivered a fuss free BBS in 3 passes. The Warm Woods Paste has a wonderful scent and paired nicely with the Oud 24hrs.

Shaving recipe for today.


Prep: Hot shower:/ L'OREAL~ Hydra Sensitive Birch Sap Shower Gel.


Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Soap.

Brush: Frank Shaving ~ Synthetic.

Face Lather.

Soap : OSP ~ Neroli.

Blade: Dorco ~ Prime Platinum .(1)

Razor: Parker 24C

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse.//Homemade Lavender + Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Dana ~ English Leather ASL.

L'OREAL ~ Soothing Birch Sap Post Shave Balm.

Another relaxing Sunday 3 pass + pick ups near bbs shave with no errors to report.


The frank shaving synthetic brush perfomed wonderfully, creating a luxurious slick protective lather, which was more than adequate for my shave...Out of all the dorco de blades that i've sampled, the Prime Platinum is my favourite, it's such a smooth forgiving, yet sharp blade that has been totally suited to my skin type, and has paired together with every razor i've matched it up with...A very comfortable shave.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of L'OREAL ~ Soothing Birch Sap Post Shave Balm.

I found the Pears transparent soap at my local dollar store. I will have to give it a try!

For my skin/beard, I think this blade reaches it's final usable output at 4 shaves. I finished with needing too many touchups for my liking. Completed the shave with BBS, but it resulted in red irritation on the lower neck. I guess it matches the natural tone of the back of my neck now... [emoji28]
