Terrific Tabac Tuesday!
What a difference a day/shave makes,
A Face lather today with the very dependable Tabac, the RR4 holding enough for 3 passes if required. I will keep face lathering with this brush as it has picked up a lot of dings from my bowl. I would recommend face lathering with these sort of brushes to keep them in top condition.
The GC-OC really doing the business today, The 1st Pass WTG removing most of my daily stubble, very efficient and very comfortable, i completed a mix XTG/ATG 2nd pass, all evidence of the last 24hrs growth gone, i have a very smooth face and chin.
Some very minor indications from the block that subsided very quickly.
The post shave with the Tabac products leaving me very soft and comfortable and smelling very Starsky and Hutch.
Have great day All.

My set-up for the week in Majorca
Chinese Silvertip Fibre - OSP Lemon, Peppermint & Menthol - Pal Injectomatic - Personna SSC #1 - Electrif's Lementhol A/S - Aloe Vera Gel

As it's surprisingly hot here for September I'm really pleased I brought the OSP as it has a good menthol chill. Coupled with my menthol infused lemon A/S, made for a very refreshing shave, especially with the Pal performing impeccably.

Razor - Merkur 37c
blade - Aussie Spoiler (21)
brush - Simpsons Chubby 1 best
soap - Musgo Real - Orange Amber
post - witch hazel
a/s - OSP - Orange and Patchouli
balm - Arran Aromatics - Bay Citrus moisturiser
scent - Musgo Real - Orange Amber cologne.

Result - doesn't get much better than that.

Home alone mimsy shave - the bathroom is mine - all mine I tell you! Antidote to a crap day. I feel much better now - the large whisky beside me is good for the symptoms also. Seems to be cream season in the den - and this is one of my favourites - the scent and performance can't be faulted in my opinion - it dovetails beautifully with the OSP tonic. I'm not sure where the Arran moisturiser came from - other than the obvious answer - I found an unopened box of it during the great tidy up earlier this year - in preparation for the units that now comprise the unified den being installed. Probably from my partner - it must be of some antiquity as the company haven't used the Arran Aromatics name for a while - one wonders how much they paid some black polo neck wearing - pony tail sporting - cocaine addled fool to come up with that great branding leap in the dark - to go from Arran Aromatics to Arran. I'd previously been a bit hesitant to buy their stuff - never sure whether they were selling good products or some vaguely aspirational lifestyle choice. Based on the moisturiser - I stand corrected - excellent for me - very good. Tempted to try their soap - after having read several positive comments from people whose opinion I trust here. Apart from anything else - effortlessly cool packaging - from the minimal cardboard outer to the dish that looks like a pebble. A gift for a sotd pic - I would have thought @patw - ha ha. Anyway - job done - enjoy the rest of the evening and your shaves - I think I deserve another dram - yours - I.

Razor: Fatip Piccolo SE
Blade: Gillette 7 O'c Permasharp (2)
Brush: Oumo SHD Manchurian
Soap: Speick Cream
Pre: Proraso White
ASL: Superdrug Forest Fresh
ASB: LEA

A great shave from the Piccolo. 2.5 days growth removed with ease and the 7OC Permasharp also performed well. A comfortable smooth finish with minimal feedback from the aftershave. I can also see why there's a lot of love for the Speick cream.
