Prep : warm water
Razor : Fatip Grande OC
Brush : MÜHLE boar
Blade : Astra superior platinum
Soap : Haslinger sandalwood
Bowl : just a bowl
Alum : De Vergulde Hand
After shave : Nivea Men Protect & Care balm
Yesterday I used my Proraso brush with this soap. The Proraso is to big for the tin the soap is in. The MÜHLE and the Omega Hi-brush work better with this tin.

Had half a dozen cart shaves in the last week. Just fancied a change. Mostly Mach 3 but with one Fusion thrown in, left my face aching later in the day. 5 blades? No thanks. Must admit I like that there's no fear factor with carts, and that as long as I stay WTG and use proper cream, I get a half decent & comfortable event free shave with them. What I don't like (as well as the cost) is having to shave daily, and feeling like even (that's) not enough. 9am shave, by 9pm feel I need to again. Pants. So, back to DE after a week off and had a very pleasant and no doubt longer lasting shave.

Same Blade in different Razors. The Schick Proline in the Occams not so good and bit me. Today in the Mongoose, smooth and trouble free with an excellent finish. Nicely set up for visiting friends, need to finish packing and fuel up. The Occams is ready for another test as a Travel Razor before we go on our proper holiday.
