Haircut & Shave P076-SB Titanium
Polsilver Super Iridium (3)
Penhaligon's Castile aftershave (vintage)

You certainly like your Penhaligon's creams and I can understand why. I can still source the original Bayolea soap if anyone interested.

Last of my 4 Cyril R Salter creams: Sublime Citrus...

Same setup as the previous 3 creams: Phoenix Starcraft brush and EJDE89 razor, but this time with an Astra blade.

Once again the cream lathered very quickly and very well from just a small amount I could have got through multiple passes, but the performance of the blade was also exceptional so I only needed 2 and a bit.

Scent-wise it had a nice fresh citrus fragrance that wasn’t heavy or overpowering…I could have done with a little more strength to it personally.

Overall conclusions on Cyril R Salter cream:

They are all excellent in terms of performance and you get lots of shaves from such a generous pot. For the sub-tenner price that seems like very good vfm to me. But, they are quite disappointing on the fragrance side of things. Of the four I tried, the Rose was the clear winner and the French Vetiver was the definite loser. The mint and citrus flavours were just a little under-powered…easily beaten by TOBS equivalents.

On the blades, they all performed very well but maybe that’s because you can’t really go wrong with an EJDE89:cool:

Oh...and the little spoon? It's a vintage mustard spoon that I use to scoop out the perfect amount of shaving cream!;)

Happy shaving and good health to all:)(y)

Brush - Omega 10075
Soap - Palmolive Stick
Razor - Flat Bottom Tech
Blade - Lord Super Chrome (1)
AS - Signature Soaps Danum

Some shaves are better than others and today's shave was one which wasn't the best. The blade felt prickly, and the lather wasn't the best I've built and my face didn't feel the best at the end of the shave, but the SS Danum splash seemed to cool the post shave irritation.
