This brush arrived last year at the same time as my first Sig Soap. They worked well together from the off and it continues to perform well with any other Sig Soap it meets.

It's taken a few of shaves but I'm finding my rhythm with the Vector now. A good splash of the Hibernia to finish and I'm ready to face the City Centre.

Greetings,

A new shave set up to start the weekend...Into my near third month of cold water wet shaves which have been a tonic for my mature mug.

This week will be a shave stick week and maiden shave with the Dorco ST 300 blade after the smooth comfortable shaves i had with the dorco prime platinum paired together with my merkur 39C with my shave last week.

Maiden shave verdict?...Like the prime platinum, the ST300 is a very mild forgiving, non-aggressive efficient blade which was another good match for the parker 55SL..I'll have to try them out with my other DE razors in future shaves.

Both the blades are not the sharpest blade choice which i fully understand will have a love/hate opinion with some people, what i personally really like about both blades they have a mild efficient smooth cutting edge which lets me buff over my tough jawline areas without causing any irritation to my skin..As always traditional wet shaving product opinions are very subjective....YMMV.

A enjoyable 3 pass +pick ups BBS with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Nivea Men ~ Sensitive PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth and smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

SOTD 11th July 2020

Razor - Feather AS-D1
Blade - Feather Hi Stainless
Soap - Signature Soaps -Capra - unfragranced /Goats Milk
Brush - Alpha Outlaw V2 Ti Silvertip
Post - Signature Soaps -Aftershave Splash - Hybernia
Frag - Guerlain Jicky edp

A great smooth and close shave using the AS-D1 fitted with a Feather blade, no doubt helped along by the wonderful lather that I managed with ease to get from the Signature Soaps Capra Goats milk soap.
The more I use this soap the higher up my list of favourite soaps it goes, the post shave skin feel is wonderful, today I didn't put the aftershave splash on for a full hour because my skin was feeling great, well done @BrianH , you've really pulled it out of the bag with this one! :)

Untill the next time, enjoy your weekend but let's be safe! :)

Paul.

Jumping the gun a bit, this is the gear i will choose from this week, a bit of a Mix and Match.

The only unknown is the Dorco ST301 blade as it was the next one out of the trial blade dispenser, all the rest of the gear just works well for me.
Oh! The Captains Choice heavyweight Copper lather bowl is new this week and Works a treat, great service from Scott @Captainschoice and the bowl arrived quickly, even though the foot-pads at the post office and customs had my eyes out, this one will last a life time or 2.

Waiting for a 5 pack of @BrianH 's wonderful Hybrid Signature Soaps (travel size) to come so they will probably make an appearance.
If i can get a daily one done i will.
Stay Safe and enjoy your shaves all.

I hope you wife is feeling more comfortable today, have a good weekend :) P.

A&E Choco Cubano
AP Shave Co 24mm Cashmere
ATT M1 Hempel titanium barberpole
Personna Lab Blue #2
Mugler Havane EDT

Unusual soap that is brown in colour and produces a lather that is a cafe au lait in colour, the shave was easy and efficient. The scent of the soap is strong chocolate with a background of tobacco so I spritzed on a bit of the Mugler to slightly compliment. Have relaxing weekend Gents.

Not the best shave ever this morning. I discovered several random small weepers after the shave. The lather was, to say the least, luxuriant and plentiful, but I think that the blade was a bit dodgy, GSBs usually last rather longer than this. Into the bank with the blade.
