SOTD: Saturday 11th January - Friday 17th January 2020.

Mondays Shave

So as I was playing with the Feather thought I would put it in the ATT H Plate (Another Razor that defies Physics , when I bought it I thought it would be very aggressive , bt it is testament to the maker it is very efficient but also very smooth.

A Wonderful shave but I fear I may have a Mdc addiction , at the moment everything else seems ok but not quite the same as Mdc.

Greetings,

Out of all my parker de razor collection the 89R is the least i've added to my razor rotation, with no justified reason... This weighty assertive indian princess has a great balance and like all my other parker de razors isn't fussy with what blade i've paired her up with.Another superb razor that i intend to use more often in my future up & coming SOTD set ups.

A enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

Enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

A morning two pass shave with a blood-free acceptable result. The Spanish Leather is a really nice smelling cream. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it.

@Rob998 ? What can I say about him? Not much except he can't half guzzle pints and he just happens to be a great friend in life and has been for quite some years now. Steals all sorts of expensive stuff from the house with no intention of ever returning anything, but I can live with that because he's a mate.....and did I mention can't half guzzle pints?

He is also waiting for me to drop dead so that he can get his hands on this........

Rather rushed the Shave today so results were rather patchy. I was rather keen to have a shower as I am not very mobile with my broken leg.The good news is that we have a good size Shower area with adjacent cloakroom downstairs.no need to struggle upstairs.

SOTD 01/14/20

Returned from Pleasant Hill, TN yesterday, and all I can say is it's nice to be home, and have reliable internet service again. My apologies for being unable to participate as fully as I like. The spotty service from Friday to yesterday was frustrating! In any case, shave #3 continues to reinforce my very positive impressions of the Occam's DE. I really like the aggressive plate on the razor which actually is quite efficient. The Grooming Dept's Donkey Milk Soap whipped up beautifully with my Jayaruh Custom Two Band Badger brush. The longer rosewood handle, besides being very attractive, made it easier to soap up the back of my head. In addition the lather combined beautifully with the PAA Cube Preshave soap to again deliver an incredibly close first pass. So close, in fact, that my second pass consisted mostly of some selective buffing in my regular three trouble spots around my face. Using the same double soap prep on the noggin sunk all the balls! The alum block revealed some very slight heat in the middle of the back of my head, but otherwise, DFS all around. I feel clean, smoooth, and refreshed.

RAZOR: Occam's DE
BLADE: Feather
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with PAA's Charcoal-Menthol Cube Preshave Soap
BRUSH: Jayaruh Custom Two Band Badger with Rosewood Handle
SOAP: Grooming Dept's Donkey Milk
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Thayers Lavender WH and finished with Aqua Velva (Spanish Version)
