Evening shave

PannaCrema Nuavia Verde
Omega 11137
Gillette Fatboy
Personna 74 (1)

The blade was a gift from the generous @TomG. He tells me that some consider it to be the best blade ever made. Of course, I'm still a relative newbie, and don't have nearly enough experience to comment on such things. But it certainly gave me a great, very smooth shave. I look forward to getting to know the ‘74 over the next few days.
Cheers Tom.

Greetings All,

Sunday pm shave.

Two days' growth and warm shave

Preparation – showered, then face washed with Nivea sensitive face wash

Soap: L'Occitane Cade Shaving soap
Razor: Merkur 34c
Blade: Shark SS (3rd)
Brush: Omega boar brush

Post Shave: Hot and cold water rinse, then L'Occitane Cade balm

Three very nice passes, not issues or injures. First time using the L'Occitane products and the soap was very nice and the balm, thick and made my skin feel smooth and irritation free.

Quick question – I did not get any residue slickness from the soap, does that mean I had under worked the lathering it?

Also, do you fine gentlemen prefer shaving in the mornings or evenings – or does it depend on time (family, work etc.)?

Brian

Mon 12th November

Omega 11137 boar
Lea Classic Soap
Schick J3-Golden 500
Schick Proline [ 2 ]
Lea Classic A/S Lotion

Again I used a J3 after a great Shave yesterday, this time one loaded with an AC Blade. Despite me having a strong coarse beard, I find that this Razor though deemed to be mild is very efficient at dealing with my growth. Before extending my stable of Razors I often used it for a relaxed Shave , as with the long handle it seems like a magic wand as it clears away whiskers with little effort.
