Pre - Soap Free Face Wash
Brush - Omega 10075 (23mm/48mm unbleached boar)
Soap - Pre De Provence
Razor - Yaqi DOC
Blade - Treet Platinum (4)
Post - Witch Hazel
AS - Eyup Sabri Tobacco
Balm - RSC

The Omega 10075 behaves like I like my boar brushes to beheave, scrubby and exfoliating not like the Zenith B07 and Omega 11819 I have been using recently, which are fine brushes in their own right but a little too floppy for my liking. Even though the 10075 is smaller than I generally like it can easily hold enough lather for 3 passes with the Yaqi DOC/Treet Platinum. I probably underestimated how sharp this blade is, it seems to have got sharper from the first 2 days of using it, and I seemed to have picked up a little post shave irritation, which I really felt after applying the splash so I needed to apply some balm to sooth my face.

D-Day 75 years Remembrance
Today is a poignant day in my family, It was the start of the end of the war and a hopeful return for my Uncle Douglas. He was captured by the Japanese in the defence of Singapore and spent approx. 3 yrs. under their brutal treatment, although, he said he was lucky compared to the poor lads on the Burma railway. He was strong enough to survive and we got him back.
He did managed to forgive them for what happened.
The Photos in the background were commissioned for his 100th Birthday celebration at the Royal Chelsea Hospital.
So to remember the USA and there fantastic effort on the beaches of France along with all our Britsh & Commonwealth soldiers from all around the globe, today i chose the USA 1912 to do the honours, again with the vintage Culmak and Gibbs cream, it is a fantastic combination giving a really slick chin covering.

I find the USA 1912 a little milder than the British made versions, sometimes that's not a bad thing.
An easy 3 Pass shave always W / X &ATG for a BBS shave, post prep with the Alum gave no indication a cold water rinse - a splash of witch hazel to close everything down.
The Barts Balm and oil working wonders and a splash of @Electrif's Bay Rum AS, just Dandy.
I am ready for the rest of the day (y)

A few years ago Douglas was interviewed on video about his experiences and you can, If you want, watch him talk about some of his story by following the link below.
In His own words.

Have a great day all, and take time to give thanks to those who gave thier todays for our tomorrows.

Phoenix and Beau Borealis
Yaqi Red Marble 24mm synth
Face lather
G.I. and Co. Gillette Old Clone (1920s)
Gillette Silver Blue
Thayer's Rose Petal and Aloe Vera
Fine Fresh Vetiver

Yeah, I swithered given last night's R41shave. But I couldn't resist two maiden voyages: the Yaqi and the George Ibberson Clone. The brush is going to be a real keeper; plenty backbone and really works the lather into the face. It's going to be great for triple milled soaps like Tabac.

The razor is outstanding in every way; certainly matches the Old in performance and efficiency. Thanks again Russ; it's found a permanent home.
