"Get in there"
A very nice face lather with the PIF'd DS Cosmetic (thanks Chris @Boycie83) and @BrianH 's Leodis shaving soap to finish of this Signature Soaps week, for me these soaps really are "All that". Easy to lather, the scents are strong and compliment the shave but are not overpowering and slick with a great post shave feel.
I completed a 2 pass shave routine 1 full WTG pass then changing the 2nd pass XTG strokes for extra WTG strokes, going ATG on the neck up to the chin/jawline. Result - a smooth, comfortable DFS++. No issues to report.
Very minor indication from the Alum Test, in fact hardly worth mentioning.
The post shave finishing it all off very nicely.
Stay Safe and enjoy your day All.

Friday 11th September

Brush - Simpson Trafalgar T3
Soap - Vitos Red Super Extra
Razor - Timeless 0.68 SS Scalloped
Blade - SuperMax Blue Diamond Titanium 2
Post - Quorum Aftershave

Blue Diamond aren't my favourite blade - nowhere near as smooth as Gillette Silver Blues, Platinum's or Voskhod and the like. Two shaves and out for this blade.
Vitos Red was closest to hand this morning, and was easily lathered with the Trafalgar T3.
Finished with Quorum Aftershave

Yaqi Heavy Metal - OSP Urban Viking - Yaqi Katana - Euromax Platinum #1 - Blue Stratos A/S - Aloe Vera Gel

Was fortunate to get the Katana head during a sale at Ali Express for less than £5 delivered. 3 weeks to get here.
I coupled it with an Aluminium General handle and a Euromax blade. It gave a lovely smooth shave.
Suitably impressed, and looking forward to future shaves. Definitely a keeper.

Looking pretty good the head of lather...I can smell vanilla & tobacco

It certainly is a nice smell. Probably more vanilla than tobacco.

Pre - Shower / Face wash
Cream - Sweyn Forkbeard - Vanilla and Tobacco
Brush - GFT Best Badger
Razor - Merkur 34G
Blade - Personna Red (1)
Post - Kouros AS followed by Moisturiser

A nice comfortable two and half pass shave.

Razor - Gillette New OC
Blade - Astra SP (3)
Brush - Zenith Euro X
Soap - Palmolive Menthol Cream
Post - Witch Hazel/Nivea Balm
AS - Superdrug Forest Fresh

Same razor/blade setup yesterday, as it was good I gave it another go to see if it was as good as it was and to my surprise, it was even better. A really great lather with the Palmolive Menthol and Zenith Euro X, a unbleached boar which takes a very long time to break but seems to be the most efficient boar brush I own for not eating lather/not holding lather. It has a quite a flat fan shaped knot, which makes it a little awkward to get the initial splay, but I find it's an excellent shape for painting on lather.

Have a good weekend gents.

A Wonderful Razor the Le Grelot 6/8 lent to me by a good friend as I had never tried a French Straight before , I have to say I really like it , lovely weight and balance.

Continuing my trials with the PAA Soaps today I used John Frum , this one is the CK6 base that I never used before great PAA performance and post shave not too much different except the lather is possibly cleaner and lighter, Another fragrance that wasn't really my cup of tea. Hard to describe but for me in was not a classic Neroli but a bit towards a Neroli which I never enjoy. Purely on Fragrence it goes to position 3 in my Table , Preformance of all has been excellent.

My League Table so Far :)

1. Gondolier
2. Solstice
3. John Frum CK6
