Vig Shaving Synth - OSP Urban Viking - General Brass - Schick Proline P #3 - Williams Aqua Velva A/S - Aloe Vera Gel

One thing I like about OSP soaps is the superb residual slickness. The new Urban Viking is no exception.

An excellent shave!!!!

I enjoyed time away from Home, seeing Relatives and a bit of the Peak District. The Hotel was very nice, apart from Bathroom where
Mirror/Lighting made Shaving experience poor, so did not bother yesterday as travelling Home. As a bit of fun got a Bakewell Tart from Bakewell and a Pork Pie from Melton Mowbray - both quite nice but the Pie was quite pricey.

Good to be Home, as todays Shave was Smooth Comfortable and satisfyingly close all round

Good evening everyone, I hope you're all well.

Pre- Barts Grapefruit and Pink Pepper ASL
Brush- Ex S Medium Jock
Soap- TOBS Rose Cream
Razor- Rockwell 6S (R4)
Blade- Gillette 7 O'clock Permasharp
ASL- Barts Grapefruit and Pink Pepper ASL

A wee bit of feedback with the alum block this evening which I'll put down to the new blade. Other than that I'm looking like an 18 year old cool dude. I've not had a drink......yet.

Stay safe everyone, keep smiling.

PreShave: Warm to hot water—most from the boiled kettle, some from the tap
Cream: GFT Eucris
Brush: Kent BK8
Bowl: My recycled T&H cream bowl
Razor: Futur
Blade Astra Platinum (1)
Post Shave: Alum

Fragrance: Eucris

My Saturday setup, dialed down a bit—3, 2.5 and 1.5. Still it was a smooth shave. Have a good remainder of the weekend folks.

Rooney Stubby 3 Porcelain Finest (26/54)
Ralph Lauren Safari shaving soap (tallow)
Henson AL13
Schick Plus Platinum (2)
Ralph Lauren Safari aftershave balm (vintage)

This was my first use of the Henson razor. It held the blade quite firmly, and there was no chatter and very little auditory feedback. The shaving angle was shallower than with my other razors, but I was able to adjust quickly. The shave was very smooth and close. Sort of paradoxically, I found that due to the extremely light weight (38g), I felt like I had to work a bit harder with it than with my other heavier razors.
