5th April
Pre - Bloom water
Brush - Razorock Plissoft 24mm
Soap - Soap Commander Honor
Razor - Parker 65r
Blade - Gillette Silver Blue #1
Post - Boots Freshwood AS and balm

A smooth and close shave this morning. Really enjoying using Bloom water as Pre shave. The Parker, when paired with the right blade, is now becoming a joy to use. Soap Commander gives great lather and protection, although it's gonna take me years to get through that deep tub. My first ever use of a GSB blade, very first impressions are smooth and comfortable, very similar to the Gillette Platinum. So look forward to using it in my other razors. And Boots post shave finished it all off nicely.
Stay safe everyone.

.....
I'm still envious of the lather @chard52142 produces. However, at the end of my shave when cleaning up and washing excess lather down the sink, I always think, I should use less product. Still, it seems you need an amount even if some is wasted otherwise, it just doesn't feel right.
.....
I use the remaining lather to clean the sink,it's soap after all.

Sunday 5th April

Pre - Proraso Green
Razor - Feather AS-D2
Blade - Personna Lab Blue (6)
Brush - Simpsons 'Captain 2' Best
Soap - Le Père Lucien 'Oud Santal'
Post - Homemade Witch Hazel and Tea Tree Oil
A/S - Brut
Balm - Nivea Sensitive

I don't own a lot of shaving gear, I'm a sort of know what I like person and tend to stick with it hence the lack of SOTD's. The AS-D2 is the only razor I use now, it is all I need. I enjoy using different soaps and have around 10 which will be my limit. Yesterday I used LPL 'Oud Santal for the first time, wow! I had tried a sample of 'Cologne Fougere' and thought it performed really well, at least as good as MdC in my eyes so I decided to get the 'Oud Santal' as I'd heard good things about it. Yesterday turned out to be one of those perfect shaves, to my nose the scent is off the charts, subtle and classy and the performance matched it. My face felt really conditioned and smooth. I also think I have found the perfect match for the AS-D2, the Lab Blue even on its 6th use was smooth and sharp with no issues to report at all. Finished off with a good splash of Brut, I know it's only bargain basement stuff but by god I love the scent.

Soap Catie's Bubbles Irish Coffee
Brush Yaqi Sagrada Familia
Razor Gillette New LC
Blade BiC Chrome Platinum 2nd
Post & Aftershave
Ice Water
Special Thayers Cucumber Mix

Nice aromatic creamy coffee scent from the soap! Face lathering was very pleasurable creating slick thick lather.
Shave with razor and blade quite smooth and nicely sharp. Very light pressure by holding the end on handle. 3pass + buffing WTG, XTG/ATG & ATG. 1 weeper because trying to clear my main problem under jaw/neck area. Ice water rinse is really good followed by special Thayers. Overall an enjoyable shave with the vintage razor. A DFS result and rating of 9/10

Mon 6th April
The Grosvenor [ 404-mixed ]
Vitos Super Red
Ever Ready " Streamline"
Gem S/S [ 1 ]
Tuff Red A/S Lotion

Today a Shave with my favourite Vintage SE , and even with a fresh blade I had no problems getting a superbly close finish, though of course Shaving with such a close requires concentration and the lightest of touches. I got a good Shave with The TNNSER-3D yesterday, but this is better.
For a long time The "Streamline" has been my special occasion Razor, though it has been displaced by an AC/ SE razor which is much more forgiving of error.
