Yeah I have considered it but I would need to become proficient in engraving first, but it would look cool cheers EdReally love them, especially the gold one. Have you ever considered doing a design using some nice patterns using a gold inlay on a silver or black blade?

I will be honest I don't rate Damascus at all, I have dabbled with a couple of blanks from respected makers and it's just ok, in my opinion it does not take an edge like 01, also it can delaminate at the weld lines and is stupidly expensive, in my view it is pretty but mediocre.
