Shaving Private area

Of course i do, same goes with nose and ears ;)
You should try it, some women enjoy it - but these days, i do it because both me and my wife prefers it that way.
There's always help if you need it. Don't suffer in silence....

Point missed; nothing to do with muscles (sexuality, or AIDS for that matter), it's just about personal preferences. Body / private areas; to shave or not to shave, that is the question / post.

Or, perhaps shave these areas occasionally, because it is extremely time consuming to carry out this procedure on a regular basis.
There is no actual need for many things in life; it's merely preferences.

If you want to cut about as smooth as a 13 year old girl then go for it. I'll be sitting here combing my back and being, you know, a bloke and stuff.
Which is why you shave your face obviously: you want to look like a 13 year old boy.
Really, some people like to shave other parts of their body than their faces, there's really no problem with that. I'm utterly stunned at the amount of hostile reactions here to that.

Mmmmm....a thread of some interest that I missed...until this moment. I will contribute one statement of truth...

Other than for valid medical reasons, men shave their genitals for one reason only: too much hair makes their already tiny penis look even smaller, like a turtle just waking up and poking it's head out of its shell first thing in the morning, eyes tightly closed, mouth yawning, and face totally unshaven. It needs a wash and, perhaps, a massage to bring out to life, so that it can be seen in its full glory and impress the female turtle...who's too busy shaving her legs with his razor to even notice, goddammit!

The hair around my face is so similar to the hair around my never regions. It's a fair comparison, when I go in the office and loosen my belt and drop my shorts and spread my cheeks to reveal a smooth baby butt wax they all say I look twenty years younger, as I am then bizarrely escorted off the premises.

I certainly don't look like a 13 year old boy. See my avatar (profile picture)? That's basically me. For 'hostile' read 'harmless leg-pulling'. If this was a conversation happening in a pub, it'd end up going the same way.

Fair point Greybeard, but some just shave upper body and down under just because they want to! And, grey hair coming out the top of one's shirt collar is not generally considered to be a good look! I think this all started with premiership footballers who preferred the smooth upper body look for their shirt off (yellow card) goal celebrations and then it just progressed downwards a little.

I always trim the bush that might otherwise peek through the top of my collar...unfortunately it starts far lower down than I would prefer!
