Shaving Neck Help

The only thing i can add to the already excellent advice already given is to try a different soap, i've found that tallow based soaps give me much less irritation than non tallow alternatives, Palmolive shave sticks are as cheap as chips, less than a quid in some outlets and whilst the scent may not be to your liking it's a cheap way of finding out if a tallow based soap makes a difference.

try a pre shave oil applied before you lather to reduce friction { extra virgin olive oil } can work as a pre shave ,hell of a lot less expense also for an experimental session, apply around a quarter or 10p sized ammount in your palm & massage into your stubble , WASH YOUR HANDS before picking up your razor tho ;)

Something I've stumbled across that helps me. Rinse the razor less. I feel the accumulation of lather gives a bit more protection on your neck area. I can get away with an extra pass and a bit more buffing.
I know this might not be popular lol

Excellent advice above.

I'd insist on NO pressure, light touch. And patience and practice.

FWIW... I shave every day, I go ATG on my neck too, plus touch ups. And my go-to combo is a Single Ring thin cap with a Feather in. Glorious!

when it comes to doing my neck I'm seeming to struggle a bit with getting the right angle of the blade or something because I don't get as good of a shave on my neck and have been getting a few cuts.
Keep the strokes short to maintain correct blade angle and stretch the skin. Nicks, cuts and weepers are usually caused by poor technique. In time you will get much better results so keep working at it.
