Shaving iritation

Efficient is the most misused word on all wet shaving forums IMO. A razor either cuts to the desired height or it doesn't. No one ever called a lawnmower or a scythe "efficient". I can get the same quality of shave with any DE razor upon knowing the blade gap/exposure. Everything else is pure BS. What you are calling "efficient" is merely a more aggressive razor, nothing more or less & not unlike lowering the blade on a lawnmower to cut grass shorter. The razor itself is merely a blade holder. If you buy into the "efficient" BS you'll find yourself suckered into buying some hoidy toidy artisan razor.......................oh wait....................you already did. ;)
I use the term because I don't find ‘mild' or ‘aggressive' useful. If I have a Gillette Tech that gives me a decent shave with a Personna Israeli Red in 3 passes; and I get a BBS from a MÜHLE R41, or Gillette Old using the same blade in 2 passes, then the latter is more efficient. To me, anyway. Vive la difference, etc.

I prefer the word assertive over aggressive, some dogs are aggressive but razors are generally well behaved! :) Efficient is also a great discripive word but as you say vive la difference :) P.
