Tuesday - evening shave:
5/8" Hoffritz
C&E Pure brush
T&H Luxury soap
Taylors #74 Lime aftershave

Yeah, I know I said after Sunday's shave that I was done with straights but in the words of Al Pachino in Godfather III "just when I though I was out, they pull me back in".

Started with whiskers on my face. One pass. Ended with whiskers in the sink. That's a "you'll do" shave in my book.

Wednesday

Proraso Pre/post
St James London cream
Rocket HD
Kai blade
Alum
Liz Earle A/S Balm
No.74 Limes A/S

First outing for this cream, nice smell and good performer. Not a 'huge' amount of lather produced in comparison to Proraso cream but well worthy of a rotation place.Especially at £5 per pot.

Wednesday:
Feather AC (Folding) / Pro Guard Blade
C&E Pure Badger Brush
MWF Soap
Taylors #74 Lime Aftershave (but not needed)

Tuesday

Kent BK4
Tabac
1955 Flair Tip Rocket
Gillette Super Thin (1)
Boots Teatree & Witch Hazel Toner

I popped in to Boots yesterday and picked up the toner. Read on the back that it could be followed with the moisturiser. That was 50% off. Total cost £5.13. Tried them both today. Amazing! Very effective. Then spent a pleasant morning in Southampton feeling like a million dollars ( or was it feeling like spending a million dollars) Either way I didn't spend much.

Something on the list to check out - I wonder if Palmolive soap (bar?) has the same ingredients as the stick? If it has, I have an idea.
regards

I gave a misleading impression there: it's a couple of sticks grated and compressed into a dish. Nb: don't try this with a fine parmesan type grater -I did

Tuesday

Omega boar
Aristocrat Jr.
Asda Personna

TOC Aromatherapy soap
Proraso pre/post afterwards

Thursday

Gold Tech
Feather
Simpson's Best Badger Special
Proraso Cream (green tube)
Castle Forbes Limes asb
Penhaligon's English Fern

I've not tried the Tech/Feather combo before. It was superb.

Thursday

First outing of my new Truefitt&Hill Luxury Soap <yummy>

Gillete black-handled slim (set at 4) razor
Vulfix Grosvenor Badger-Boar mix brush
Gillette yellow 7'oclock (new)
Nivea Extreme Comfort AS balm

Fabulous, smooth shave. Whether it was the new razor or the soap I don't know - great nonetheless.

Thursday

Proraso pre cream
Merkur Progress
Dorco 300
Connaught Sandalwood cream
Vulfix 404 Pure
Alum
Pitralon Fresh

i'll be sticking with the 570 for this spell as i've modified the handle
started the shave with a Merkur blade from another razor, don't know how many times i used it before but it got binned very quickly
the Dorco was new but wasn't as smooth as the Gillette 7o'clocks
Connaught cream worked well - Paul does samples of these

Thursday:
'vintage' Feather AC (folding) / Pro Guard Blade
Simpsons Duke 2 Pure Badger Brush
Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap
