September Acquisitions

Is it bad that I prearranged the soap shelf in the den to allow these to 'slip in' unnoticed?

Not in the slightest bit.

Good haul of soaps though. I've been trying to avoid the temptation of buying any more soaps, and as I've had a cull there's a voice in my head which telling me to address the void of obscure Bulgarian/Hungarian/Egyptian creams in my soap rotation.

I thought about responding with some encouragement but I'm sure temptation will get the better of you soon

Ha ha. Yeah it does seem that way.

I don't suppose you ever frequent Badger & Blade? It's not a site I frequent on a regular basis but in the creams sub forum there's a chap who seems to review random creams from Eastern Europe & Egypt and even though I've never had much desire for 'premium/boutique' soaps those obscure creams seem to really tempt me, I think it might be the labels.

I'm sure I'll give in shortly...

If their blades are anything to go by, you won't go far wrong!

Don't. I've used a few of those creams years ago and they are just basic old COMBLOC fare for the most part. Few if any shave as good as a Palmolive cream IMO. You'll just be out of more money, have a second "mountain" of shaving crap and be bitchin' about here in a year. ;):ROFLMAO:

Thanks for the info and I will take your word for it, I needed a gentle nudge to go the other way.

Palmolive cream is very good. Have you used the Italian Menthol version? It's genuinely superb, might be one of my favourite soaps out there. Seems to go a little under the radar though.
