Let me know how the Henson razor is (or tell me its really bad so I am not tempted to buy one)
It's awful Karl. You don't need a beautifully machined aluminium razor in your collection. Especially one produced by a company that produces parts for the ISS. Don't forget the inconvenience of being able to buy it from Shaving Station, thereby avoiding customs and a long wait for delivery. It's just not something you want in your life.....

Not so much ....pick a colour....as take what is left. Even though I dont normally shave with a DE....his description was so compelling that I had to look. Thank goodness I am having a short staycation/cooling off period very soon!

So I was in a little shop called Munfords the other day. Sells new and old items... I was thinking to myself "I wonder if I can find any razors?" then In a glass cabinet there were a gillette old (very worn) at £22. Some sort of single edge for £15 (not my interest) and this little beauty for £9

What ya think?
Worth it or a little over priced?
Well I bought it anyway, already got an aluminium tech but it's etched not embossed. So now my small collection has now reached 8 razors, 8 brushes and a plethora or soaps and creams.

My new 30mm Cashmere brush in highly lacquered 'Lead Wood' (which I'd ever heard of) and made to order from TSR member @Steven_Jagger .

So it's a brush? No, this is a painstakingly beautiful brush. Everything about it is just so 'ahhhh, mmmmmm'. The finish is sublime, the lacquer deep with a beautiful gloss sheen, the weight and size so perfect and the knot? I absolutely loved the 24mm Dandelion Cashmere but this is a real monster.

Steve has been an absolute gentleman from start to finish. It has taken time, but he's a busy man and what with everything else going on in the world, then so what? It has been more than worth the wait.

I love the fact this is mine and I am so proud. There isn't another like it. Steve asks all those questions you never really thought of. What shape? What size? What wood? What knot? And you can't buy it over the counter. This is the end product of a craftsman. Thanks so much Steve.

As I passed on to Steve my wife gave a kind of review. 'Chris surely you are not going to use this and put it on display? It is too beautiful to be used'. May be she has a point. However I will give a review soon as Steve and Silver Birch Brushes deserve some kind words.

As the man said, he really wanted to keep this for himself as I think he took some joy in it and the end finish with the contrasting wood and knot. Bad news is, I ain't going to send it back
