My Photo skills just do not do these wonderful brushes justice.
I can only reiterate what Chris @Satanfriendly has said in his post about his Lead Wood masterpiece.
I had never used a Silver-tip knot before so decided to ask Steven @Steven_Jagger if he could help, i checked out some of his work on his Social Media pages and made up my mind to go for a Heavy Chubby style Blue acrylic handle (i do have hands like a mountain gorilla) As i was getting back into Str8 shaving i also wanted a brush to compliment a Koraat razor i really fancied with Cocobolo scales so also ordered a Cocobolo handled silver-tip. Both Knots are 26mm.
As Chris has said, the craftsmanship is top notch, they really are beautiful in the hand. I had a picture in my mind and tried to convey that to Steven as best i could, its as if he photographed my thoughts and made them real.
Like Chris i feel so privileged to own these "made for me" one offs, i cannot wait to get them wet.View attachment 59603

A Massive Thanks to Steven @Steven_Jagger for making this happen, well worth the wait.View attachment 59604
Glad you are happy with them, looking forward to seeing then in the SOTD and how the bloom, its great to work with guys like yourself and Chris to help get whats in your mind into the wood or resin.

Two sticks of VieLong Shaving Soap, old formula which is basically LEA's old tallow soap. It's got the trifecta (for me) of tallow, glycerine & lanolin. Mmmmm ... lanolin.

It's a really good shaving soap, I wish I'd bought myself a few when they were cheap and on sale at Connaught, but I seem to have enough shaving soap as it is (not that it's stopped me buying more)

Yeah, I recall it being good. I got a stick with one of those VieLong synthetics to trial (for Connaught) and while the brush was pants, the soap was good. I think this was before LEA reformulated and then reformulated again.

Edit: That review I mentioned:
