Scent of The Day

Al Aneeq Oud Sahara for me today.

They say:
Top notes: Oriental fresh (bitter orange, cypress)
Middle notes: Floral (jasmine, rose, beeswax, papyrus), oriental frankincense
Base notes: Oriental woody (cedarwood, oud, cistus labdanum, peru balsam, benzoin, frankincense, vanilla)

To me it makes me feel like I am visiting a cathedral, maybe Kölner Dom or Notre Dame, a lovely rich dark scent that smells of centuries of tradition, bells books and candles. More simply, it's quite frankincense forward.

Old Spice

I've now reached the end of the bottle (thank God). I wouldn't have used it at all if it hadn't been a gift. I've never been very keen on it.

This was a birthday gift from someone a while back. I hadn't heard of it before. I quite like it!

Jovan Musk Aftershave

I must admit, I really do like this aftershave, even though it's a cheapo one. The only issue that I have with it is its extremely poor longevity. The scent has literally gone within an hour of splashing it on! If you want a long-lasting aftershave splash, then this one certainly ain't it!
