TOBS No.74 Original - Apparently a reproduction of popular Edwardian scent "Geo. Thomas Royal Yacht" which much like Eucris was originally just a scented hair tonic but has been dragged into the 21st century as a fully fledged fragrance.
This was a blind buy, always risky but all good so far as I certainly dont hate it, on the contrary its rather intriguing! Reserved, subtle and far more sophisticated than anything else I've sniffed from TOBS... Bergamot, lilac, jasmine, rose & musk you would expect it to be a floral bomb which it kind of is but there is a soapy baby oil element which ties it all together and makes it work.
Think Penhaligon's Hammam Bouquet but lilac rather than rose forward
