Wash with Ach Brito Glyce
Lather up with Hampshire Woolfat Shaving Soap & RazoRock 400 Butterscotch w/Black Fibre Synthetic 24mm
Single pass shave (2 days) with 1960s Gillette Tech & Lord Platinum Class (2)

Ahhhh! Another shave with the lovely Hampshire Wool Fat ...

What a lovely blade this Lord Platinum Class is in the right razor! Mind you, when is the Gillette Tech ever the wrong razor? Nah! My last shave was in the Merkur 37C and to be frank, I was a little irritated immediately afterwards, but a good splash of VIBR and let the lovely lanolin do its thing and I was fine. Tonight, the shave was slick and smooth, perfect in the Tech. Damn good splash of Pash and a healthy dose on the scalp, too.

What a lovely blade this Lord Platinum Class is in the right razor! Mind you, when is the Gillette Tech ever the wrong razor? Nah! Even though the Ball End Tech might not be the most exciting razor I find it to be a really solid performer. Good to see you getting on with the Lord Platinum, with the Lord Classic Super Stainless they are my two favourite Lord blades.
With a few uses of the Hants Wool Fat are you more or less enthusiastic about it from your first use? I find it takes me quite a few shaves to get the right water to soap ratio dialled in to get the best results.

Not as smooth as I would have liked around the neck area, but I'm particularly liking the post shave feeling.
Actually half hour after finishing it doesn't feel that bad at all.

Chrome next, the Super Stainless ... then the Big Ben. Yeah, the Tech is my baseline razor and it never disappoints. As for the Hampshire soap, yes, it continues to meet my initial enthusiasm. Tonight, especially, as the Pashana is a perfect partner post-shave - woody patchouli, perfectly drying which lets the lanolin keep everything comfortable without any mushiness.

Thanks for the info. It seems like the Hampshire soap is a winner! I'm trying to resist the lure of another soap, but I may succumb to temptation. The Pashana splash is one the Afro-Carib beauty shops in my home town have occasionally, I'll give a bottle a sniff the next time those shops open.

2nd time using my shaving bowl, and it seemed to take a few seconds to build a perfect lather. Quicker than face lathering, can't quite believe it took me so long to get around to bowl lathering!

Nice lather from the soap especially the scent.
Shave with the razor this time paired with one of my favourite and safe blade provided a really smooth and comfortable 3 passes including smooth atg pass. Mostly BBS to some DFS. Excellent aftershaves. Rating 9.8/10
Outstanding shave with the razor fame truly realized! It is really important for a good blade pairing. Yesterday's blade pairing was not so good but today is super!!

Prep: Warm shower / Cussons Imperial Leather ~ Arctic Ocean & Icelandic Moss Shower Gel.

Pre:

Cold wet flannel to my face.

Simple ~ Sensitive Bar Soap + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.

Brush : Chinese Unbranded Silvertip Fibre.

Face Lather.

Soap : Erasmic Shaving Soap Bowl.

Blade: Euromax Platinum half blade. (3)

Razor: Yaqi Katana.


Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade peppermint Lavender, +eucalyptus, Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./Giorgio Beverly Hills ~ Ocean Dream ASL./Creightons ~ Sensitive PSB.

Early morning shave,

The erasmic shaving soap bowl provided a cushioned protective slick lather leaving a superb post shave feel.

The Katana / Euromax platinum duo worked together wonderfully mowing down my stubble with effortless ease.

A enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups near BBS shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Creightons Sensitive PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)
