Could anyone recommend a good user-friendly resource for learning about rum? Any forums or website suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm keen to learn more about the drink and have no idea where to start.

Had anyone ever tried Aldi's rum? Their crossbones and sea dog rum sounds interesting.
I had a bottle of the Crossbones recently. A nice dark rum, with a rich toffee aroma and taste. It’s quite smooth, and of normal spirit strength, so can be sipped neat, but I prefer it over ice.

The aroma was similar to Woods or Pussers, but it is a lot smoother on the palate than the Woods, and a little sweeter than Pussers. Would definitely buy again.
