Rolls Razor Query

I have the top handle in your picture of the 4 and thought I had figured it out when I unscrewed the top part. I never knew of the spring in 5je bottom of it until I saw this photo. Thank you.

Any tips for cleaning the blade up? Those rust spots developed overnight.
Yes, it's pretty important the rod is free to move and press against the spring when you tighten the top, it's this mechanism that applies the pressure to enable the tip of the rod to bear against the blade and hold it in place,
Surface rust staining should just polish out - watch the sharp edge! I use Autosol polish but most metal cleaners should remove light staining. If the spots have appeared overnight as you say, my guess is that it's just surface staining and has not penetrated the surface of the steel, if the rust is more severe and has caused pitting, especially on the blade edge, then that is another issue which would need to be resolved by honing the edge back to sound steel, but if, as you say, the staining has appeared overnight, possibly as a result of whatever you have used to clean the blade, then a suitable metal polish and elbow grease should remove it - just be careful of the blade edge!
