I use a 6C, which is half the price. Kevyshaves did a comparison. According to him the 6C slid more easily due to the chrome finish. Awesome razor, just love it. Why pay for the 6S?

I saw that too. Thought the same. Key had replied to a few of my comments about razors, he thinks the Rockwell is the best. That's over the Karve, outlaw and rex (from memory).
Any you know why the 6S isn't for sale in GB just now ? Everywhere I've looked it's out of stock

With all your razors in rotation I would think longevity is very low on the list. I suspect the Rockwell will go the same way as the other razors, occasional use.
Have you any open combs? A Fatip may be worthy of conderation; they have a slant open comb too {La Storto}.
