recommendations for a rose based perfume

Ad the title says.

I am looking for recommendations for a rose scent for men which doesn't lie too much on the feminine side of the story. yet remains fresh and light.

I am pretty ignorant here and the only one I can think of is Czech and Speake No.88

And that appears to be the issue. Most seem to come within a heavy background including Oud which I can't really stand or lavender which I can be allergic to in strong batches.

A difficult one here although I have found a few which might tick the right boxes.

... or they don't smell like you'd think rose should. Rose can be anything from powder pink to green and quite musty. Wickham's English Rose soap, for example, is (thankfully) over on the greener end; more stem than petal.

Try the Fragrantica site and search for a note. You can take it from there, and do notice the description of choices made...…..what's the most predominant note to wearers for example.
