Recommendations for a lime / lemon or orange scented cream

I am thinking about picking up a new cream and I fancy something citrusy, here is my short-list:

Vulfix Luxury Sicilian Lime
Cyril Salter Essential Lime
Cyril Salter Sublime Citrus
Razorock XXX (is this citrusy?)

I tried a sample of TOBS Lemon/lime some time ago but the scent seemed a little fake if that makes sense.

Does anyone have any experience with any of these creams, what do you think of them? How do they smell?

Are there any others I should consider?

Have you thought about Nanny's Citrus Zinger?

Heard good things about it.

Yes, though this is called a soap, it's very soft. You can almost use it as a cream. I would smear a blob around my chops before face lathering. Oh, and there is also Lime and Ice & Slice to try. :icon_razz:

i really like it

its more like a cream than a soap. you can scoop a little out then hand lather really easily.

nanny also has a lime soap as well as citrus zinger. i really like it

i bought a steel tin as well and there really good for travel

+ 1 for Nanny's Lime Soap.....I've not tried any other Lime soaps so can't comment on them...but Nanny's Lime really is quite wonderful stuff....Very easy to lather in our soft Yorkshire water....Lovely smell and good lubricity...

Not a true hard soap, but more of a very stiff creamy texture...I face lather straight from the container, using it as I would a hard soap.....

I just tried Truefitt & Hill West Indian Limes, really nice light smell, and it apparently contains lime essence as well so you get a really authentic smell. so from me it's another vote for that.

I received a sample of eShave Shave Cream in Verbena Lime scent last week. Nice scent, lathers up good. Not cheap though, at 20 euro's for 118ml. I still haven't found a shave cream that trumps trusty old Palmolive Classic cream value-for-money-wise.

Used mostly Nana's Lime soft soap this time last year, very natural lime scent, nothing else going on, very pleasant in IMHO. Her Citrus Zinger is more orange/clementine, preferred the lime. Razor Rock XXX sat in the bathroom at the moment, it's a lemon cologne scent, also very pleasant IMHO . If you prefer straight fruit go for Nana's Lime, prefer old fashioned colognes go for XXX.

Good luck

Kevin
