Hello folks. I have recently purchased the Razorock synthetic brush 24mm Barrel with the tuxedo knot. After having read many positive reviews about it on the web, and particularly for face lathering which is the only technique I have been using in the last year mainly for time saving reason. Anyway, I have shaved with it yesterday and I am not impressed. I have to admit that I got a better lather compared to my trustworthy Proraso boar brush (super broken in). But, I found the brush to be so stiff I couldn't splay properly on my face. To obviate this problem I start pressing it on my chin (I normally don't go there with my brush since I have the goatee) and then work my way to my cheeks and my neck. I got some irritation, particularly on my neck, and I felt the brush to be very itchy for my taste. I'm just wondering whether I need to adapt my technique, or my brush is not ok, or my brush is and maybe it is not for me. Oh, I also then tried to bowl lather and here I couldn't get a decent lather at all.
Thank you

What loft is this brush and do you have a glue bump?

Just to update. I have soaked the knot in warm water and I have put some conditioner in it. After 30 minutes I took it out of the water, cleaned and put back on the stand. Now it is softer. Idk if it happened because of that or because since the first post and the conditioner I have used the brushes 3 more times.
