Those are part of the DC universe, not Marvel ;)
I know. I have been a Marvel Cinematic Universe fan. I was very disappointed with Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2, Thor: Ragnarok, and Spider-Man: Homecoming. So having another franchise to watch made up for the disappointing Marvel films. I will probably watch Suicide Squad from DC and Black Panther from Marvel next.

I still haven't finished Black Panther yet, too mundane to keep my interest. Suicide Squad was average as well but watchable enough - more laughs.
A lot of the Super Hero films suffer from the same problem, they are always dealing with a MASSIVE CATACLYSM and really a lot of the time it's the character interaction that's more fun. It all gets a bit lost in the special effects and the attempts to ring emotion out of you.
Thor Ragnarok I enjoyed, for the laughs rather than the plot. When Hela was killing everything I was Ho Hum but the banter between the Hero's was excellent and kept me watching, same with Guardians 2 though that was quite laboured in places.
Perhaps they need to do a TV series rather than films if they can avoid butchering them as badly as they did Iron Fist and Power Man.

It was the alleged humour or comedy that I disliked in Thor3 and GG2. I am halfway through Blank Panther, I am finding it hard going. Even 50 year old's have ADHD.

Nosferatu, A Symphony of Horror (1922)

An unauthorised adaptation of Stoker's Dracula. One of the best German Expressionist films of the Weimar era.

Fantastic film! Werner Hertzog's remake in 1979 with Klaus Kinski & Isabelle Adjani is good, but the original is quite stunning.

Shadow of the Vampire is a biopic of this film. John Malkovic as Murnau and Willem Dafoe as Max Schreck. Worth a watch.

Yup, both good. I think Herzog's is more of a hommage to Murnau's, rather than a remake; as it's a different story. I enjoyed Shadow too, the fantastic theory of Schrek being an actual vampire was always going to make for an interesting subject. I also enjoy Dreyer's Vampyr (1932). Based loosely on Le Fanu, it has a tremendous dream-like atmosphere.

Deadpool 2 last night

As funny as the first Deadpool and I do love the juxtapose of the music in the violent scenes. Add to that the sarcastic humour and overall a very enjoyable watch.
