Batman v Superman
Heavy handed, derivative and mostly unsatisfying. Yet another reprise of "that scene" to explain Bruce but nothing to give a history to Luthor. How can you have a Clark Kent that's more charismatic than the man of steel? Having said that there are bright spots in it, like the hope that WW gets her own movie, directed by someone else. The next time I watch this will probably be Xmas 2018, that will be soon enough.

EDIT: On reflection there was one good thing about this movie. At the end of Man of Steel I remember thinking there was an enormous amount of destruction and to its credit this film dealt with the consequences of that violence.

My wife and I watched Deadpool in a surprisingly full cinema (the film has been out for weeks!), we had actually wanted to see The Revenant , but that is only on at strange times. We enjoyed Deadpool, although a lot of it probably went over our heads.

2009 Antichrist. Wow.. 1st movie to make me feel that uncomfortable in a real long time. Yes, i did turn it off after the log incident when she went for the tool box!!

In 'preparation' for the fifth Underworld movie to be released this year (Underworld: Next Generation) I re-watched the first one from 2003.
I've always rather liked this franchise and was pleasantly surprised how well this 13 year old movie has held up.

I re-watched all the films recently, good entertainment value but as before, only really to see Kate Beckinsale........in a tight.....black ....oohhhh......shiny catsuit. Too much..........oohhhh I'm having a crisis!

Deadpool was the last film I watched, really enjoyed it and several laugh out loud moments. Would watch it again.

Ex Machina - Excellent movie, one of my favourites.

Underworld - On my re-watch list partly for Kate Beckinsale, but I did really enjoy them.

Gave Jurassic World a go. It's a bit like Jurassic Park on steroids. Despite that, it doesn't have the same impact.
Chris Pratt is good but most of the other characters were as deep as a paddling pool.
Enjoyable 7/10

Deadpool, Everything I'd hoped very rarely do I give a 10/10, but this ticked all the boxes.
The Forest, yawn, jump, yawn, jump, rubbish twist, 4/10.
Black mass, lots of mumbling Boston gangsters with about 15 braincells between them, Cumberbatch and Depp completely wasted on a pretty poorly presented storyline, 4/10.

Continuing on in the Underworld series I finished watching the second one "Underworld: Evolution" from 2006
I think this was actually better than the first one.
