Ooh! I'll chase that one up ... certainly reads as a decent stab at it.

I'm re-watching a load of stuff I enjoyed back in the '70s and '80s. Back then were more innocent times, but somehow much more gritty. It's that grittiness that just doesn't seem to translate into films made now. Some can - Clint Eastwood can bring it, for example. I think Denzel Washington could. Cheers!

Not normally a superhero or comic book fan but the whole marvel universe movies has been very good.

Guardians is excellent.

Went to see 'Avengers - Age of Ultron' with the young lad yesterday. Enjoyed it.

Also just finished watching Season 1 of Daredevil (Netflix) and thought it was very good.

Big Hero 6, very good indeed, kept my interest as well as a four yo's and an eight yo's. Had them both in stitches on a number of occasions.

The Equaliser was OKish, traditional woman in the refrigerator plot line, American justification of torture and violent revenge, pointless gory executions with power tools etc. I'm really getting a bit tired of people stabbing each other with shards of broken glass - I mean how do they keep a hold of it when all their tendons have been slashed? But I like Denzel and it kept my interest.

Guardians of the Galaxy: I found surprisingly enjoyable though I think if it hadn't had Groot I might have found it less so.

John Wick: More US justification of torture and violent revenge (all very Old Testament) but at least it was about a car/dog not a woman. Quite cool but forgettable.

Box Trolls: Fish! Eggs! Wheels! Very nice bit of film making and the horrified fascination on the kids faces when they watch the Cheese allergy scenes - Priceless.

Sorry but I don't watch TV just films.
