QSHAVE Black Matte Adjustable or alternative?

I don't post here very often, as I simply do not have dedication to proper shaving. However, I do shave with a DE or SE pretty much every day.

Up until now I've been using a razor based on no fixed pattern:
- EJ DE89
- RazoRock Hawk v2
- Claymore

I find the DE89 the best to use the day after I skip a shave, as the blade doesn't clog up as easily as the two SEs. But I find that the head is a bit big to get under the nose (not an issue with the SEs) and that it doesn't give as close a shave as the Hawk and short of skinning my face nothing can get as close as the Claymore.

I've been considering the QShave adjustable, as it's only £21 with a stand and its adjustable nature should mean I can get a close shave with it.

What's people's view on the QShave Adj? I have seen a few mixed comments about it.

Would you recommend an alternative adjustable?

I wouldn't bother with the Q Shave....it's nice looking but has a very flimsy closing mechanism. If memory serves, the "unclip to release" feels as if it won't last too long and its worse under the nose than a Wilkinson Sword Classic!
Shame...it looks great, but I'd stick with your DE89.

...the QShave is an excellent adjustable, a great shaver and an absolute bargain. Really worth giving it a go for £20 or under. Yes the head is bulkier than most but in use with a little dexterity it will give a close and comfortable shave. There are some long threads on this forum and others which will also give you some good user view points. Other alternatives are the Merkur Progress and Parker Variant both also well regarded but for bang for your buck the QShave is a winner.

I bought the QShave Futur clone on a whim. It's not bad at all considering I paid £9. Gives me a very acceptable shave on setting 4. Worth a punt but OP be aware, the head is large and you will have issues shaving under your nose especially as you find it difficult using a D89 under your nose!

I have a Qshave adjustable. I was sceptic, but for less than €7 on aliexpress, I decided to give it a go. That was 2 years ago, when they showed up.

I was surprised by both the quality and the shave it delivers. No visible defects, the blade aligns perfectly. Yes, the head is bulky, just like in the Merkur Futur, but not a problem for me. The shave is actually pretty good. I just didn't expected to be that good. And at that price, it's well worth it.

Shortly after, I bought 2 more units and gave those to friends who also enjoyed them.
