Popular UK Razors in the 1970s

I grew up in the Midlands during the 1970s and the only razor I can remember was the Gillette Slim Twist. I can't recall seeing any rockets or adjustables of any variety. I am assuming these were mainly sold in outside the UK. Does anyone else have similar experiences?

I think there were a lot of old razors that just got passed down the generations in those days. My dad used a 1930's Gillette Oxford which was his father's and I used it until I left home and like you, I bought a Slim Twist - had it for years and very good too.

I remember the Gillette Knack or UK equivalent, Wilkinson Sword had a few different DE versions, and of course the Contour and Profile. My Father used an injector.
