Plastic packing

I have bought several shaving products recently, and as protection, the vendors have used polystyrene nuggets. I appreciate that there is a need for protection, but surely screwed up newspaper would do it. I'm surprised by this type of packaging . Vendors, please do try and avoid plastics and polystyrene inside the box.

Yes, we have to stop using plastic products. as you say paper will be just as good

Are they truly polystyrene or could they be the
Corn-starch-based, bio-friendly option? I've not come across the true polystyrene ones for a long while personally.

I have received products shipped from UK vendors (well, one vendor) this year which have had actual polystyrene as opposed to the fake Wotsits corn starch numbers. Disappointing, as I was the weirdo that came to this because I was getting wound up about the fact that I had to throw all my used carts in the bin instead of the recycling!

All our packing peanuts are biodegradable and dissolve in water, where possible we remove and recycle any unnecessary plastic packaging prior to shipping out to customers.

Our only exception is bubble wrap, for which we have yet to find an adequate replacement capable of protecting glass bottles properly.
