Fido said:Are Vulfix handles made in a different way to Simpson handles? Are either made by a pre programmed lathe to ensure each handle conforms to a specific dimension?
And are Vulfix and Simpsons brushes all finished in the same polishing drums? Just curious about the distinctions between the "old Simpson way" and the Vulfix way.
And is there a difference in the way Vulfix and Simpson knots are made?
Fido said:So the main difference between handles is the use of laser printing and "sticker" for logos on Simpson brushes? Presumably the lathes are production models preset to ensure handle consistency - although not a CNC!

I'm sensing, due to all the recent father and son collaboration etc etc, wer'e about see the launch of a new 'Young Simpson' range of brushes aimed at an identified gap in the market
if so, then good luck and every success to you.
